Its important to understand the difference between a boiler safety check and a full boiler service. A safety check is the minimum requirement – a basic inspection to confirm the appliance is operating safely at the time of testing. While this may satisfy legal obligations, it does not address the ongoing health or performance of the boiler. At Yaxley Gas & Heating, we go beyond the basics. Our full boiler service includes a detailed inspection, stripping down and cleaning key components, and carrying out preventative maintenance to help reduce the risk of breakdowns and extend the life of the appliance. Unfortunately many engineers carry out only the bare minimum safety checks, but we believe in delivering a more thorough and lasting service to protect your home and heating system.
